Chase Return The Serve
The Dallas Tennis Association welcomed young players and families to Kiest Tennis Center for the annual Chase Return the Serve event, a day designed to bring tennis, community, and fun together. Players ages 4–18 participated in tennis drills, games, and activities throughout the morning while enjoying music, food, and a variety of activities off the court.
The event created an opportunity for young players of all experience levels to get on court, try something new, and connect with other members of the Dallas tennis community. From tennis activities and games to face painting, a bounce house, and a dance-off, the day offered something for everyone and highlighted the importance of making tennis accessible, welcoming, and fun.
We are grateful to Chase, our volunteers, coaches, families, and community partners who helped make the event possible. Their support allows Dallas Tennis Association to continue creating opportunities for young people to experience the sport and build connections that extend beyond the court.

DTEA 17th Annual Banquet

The Dallas Tennis & Education Academy celebrated its 17th Annual Banquet with an evening dedicated to recognizing student achievement, community support, and the continued impact of DTEA programming. Under the theme “Realize the Dream,” students, families, coaches, donors, and supporters gathered to celebrate another year of growth and opportunity.

A highlight of the evening was recognizing our graduating seniors and celebrating the accomplishments they have achieved throughout their time with DTEA. The banquet provided an opportunity to reflect on the academic, athletic, and personal growth of our students while recognizing the people and organizations whose continued support helps make these opportunities possible.
The evening was a reminder that the impact of tennis extends far beyond the court. Through year-round programming, academic support, mentorship, and access to tennis, DTEA continues to help Dallas youth develop the skills and confidence they need to pursue their goals.

Summer NJTL
This summer, Dallas Tennis & Education Academy had a successful season on the court, providing free tennis instruction and equipment to underserved children throughout the Dallas community. Over seven weeks, children ages 7–18 participated in programming five days a week across various Dallas Parks and Recreation sites, creating consistent opportunities for young people to learn, play, and stay active throughout the summer.

Through Summer NJTL, participants were introduced to the sport of tennis while spending time outdoors, developing new skills, and building confidence on and off the court. Each day provided opportunities to practice tennis fundamentals, learn important life skills, stay physically active, and most importantly, have fun. For many participants, the program provided a chance to discover a new sport, build friendships, and experience the positive impact of being part of a team and community.

We are proud of the memories, skills, and connections created throughout the summer. What made this season possible was the support of our sponsors, donors, coaches, staff, volunteers, and community partners who continue to invest in opportunities for Dallas youth. Together, we made this a summer to remember—and helped show that when young people have access to positive experiences and opportunities, everyone wins.
