JTT FAQ
- 01Junior Team Tennis is a team match play product for players ages 6-18 who are comfortable with match play formatting and looking for additional practice in a fun team environment. JTT brings together players on a team to play lines of singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams of similar ages and ability level.
- 02With Junior Team Tennis, you’ll learn about unity, sportsmanship and how to work together to achieve success. You’ll also learn that success isn’t just about winning; it’s about how you play the game and respond to challenges. JTT is a fun alternative way to increase match play experience with the support of your team to cheer you on.
- 03LITTLE LEAGUE FORMAT: Home and Away games.
- 04Divisions are based on age. As validated in TennisLink, players must remain age eligible through the final day of the month in which season sectionals are held to be able to register, participate and advance in the USTA Texas Sectional Junior Team Tennis. Players are allowed to play in higher age divisions (example: a 12-year-old would be allowed to play in 14U or 18U). If you are unsure where to play, please ask your coach.

- 06Go into TennisLink to register. Follow the prompts to enter your USTA number & team number (the team number is the number that you received from the team captain).It is free to register for junior players. If you do not have a USTA number, click ‘don’t have a number?’ and follow directions on how to register for a USTA number. Follow the prompts through the credit card portion. Once you have successfully completed registration you will receive a screen notification and an e-mail confirmation.
