Plus (+) Player Requirements:
2.01A(1)a In Plus (+) NTRP levels utilizing four or less individual matches within a team match, no more than One (1) Plus (+) level player shall be allowed to play in a team match and shall be required to play in a #1 position, either singles or doubles.
2.01A(1)b In the 5.0+ level a player who is rated 4.5 is not eligible to play in the #1 singles position.
2.01A(1)c In the 4.5+ level a player who is rated 4.0 is not eligible to play in the #1 singles position.
In Plus (+) NTRP levels utilizing five individual matches constituting a team match:
2.01A(1)d Two (2) Plus (+) level players may play in a team match and shall be required to play in either (i) both in the #1 doubles position or (ii) one player in the #1 singles position and one player in the #1 doubles position.
2.01A(1)e In the 5.0+ level a player who is rated 4.5 is not eligible to play in either #1 position.
2.01A(1)f In the 4.5+ level a player who is rated 4.0 is not eligible to play in either #1 position.
40 & Over 4.5+ level may have up to three (3) players from the next higher NTRP level on a team roster
NEW!!! 2020 USTA Nationals Rules and Regulations:
2.03A(4) Eligibility to advance to National Championships for self-rated and computer-rated appealed players requires playing at least four (4) matches on the same team at the same level in the same Age Group. No defaults received count.
In the Adult and Mixed Divisions, all players other than Self-Rated and Valid Computer Rated Appealed Players are eligible to advance to National Championship competition if that player has played on the same team in at least three (3) matches at the same NTRP level in the same Age Group through Sectional Championships and is otherwise eligible. A maximum of one default received by the player during local league or championship competition shall count for advancing.
NEW!!! 2020 USTA TEXAS Section Rules and Regulations:
Sectional Rule: Self rate and computer rated appealed players will need 2 matches, 0 defaults to advance to championship play
No changes to Nationals, Sectionals nor Cities rule for valid computer rated (C) players.
LEAGUE START DATES:
Men’s Saturday League will begin on 1/25/2020.
Women’s Friday League will begin on 1/24/2020. Women’s Sunday League will begin on 1/26/2020.
TEAM ROSTERS: minimum of 7 players) are due on TENNIS LINK no later than Friday, 12/20/2019 to be included on schedule. The 40 & Over ADULT League play may be scheduled over of 3/14-21, 2020 if team registration numbers dictate for weeks of play. Season will run 6-8 weeks depending on registration numbers. League schedules are set to publish on TENNIS LINK on Tuesday, 1/7/2020.
A player must be 40 years old or turning 40 within the calendar year at the of registration.
Player registration is online at the TENNIS LINK website at .Once on the TENNIS LINK Leagues website, click on “Register for a team” and enter your USTA number and the team number. Follow the prompts through the credit card portion.Once you have successfully completed registration you will receive a screen notification and an e-mail confirmation.
2020 USTA Dallas 40 & Over ADULT League fee: $38.00.
Player League fees are NON-REFUNDABLE/TRANSFERRABLE unless the level entered does not make. Please advise your players accordingly.
Saturday ADULT League only: Any time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. is an acceptable start time for the Saturday League.
Women’s ADULT Fall/Winter Leagues: Any time between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. is an acceptable start time for the Thursday or Friday Leagues and any time between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 pm is an acceptable start time for the Saturday or Sunday Leagues unless both captains agree to an alternate time
